It has also declared war on the UN and Western non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as evidenced by these recent kidnappings. And they have been the most successful group at recruiting the youth of America and Canada.

Meanwhile the TSA and our ‘bass-akward’ Department of Homeland Security insists on random screening at the airports, harassing those frightful U.S. Senators, young children or the elderly in wheelchairs in the kabuki dance of protection and security.

It’s crazy. They should be profiling -there I said it, and I’m not original in this thinking. This is not rocket science.

I submit and I think most people will agree, the purpose of muzzling the audience was to insure no candidate received an immediate standing ovation to cheers and clapping the way they did when ‘Newt-ie boy’ chastised John King of CNN at the kick off of the debate just days before the South Carolina primary. If you missed that one, take a look. It was fabulous! BTW, it’s not so much that I’m a Newt swooner, but I think we’re all sick of the media.

And Brian Williams had plenty of reason to be cautious if you recall his ‘gotcha’ question in one of the very first debates in a dust-up with Governor Rick Perry over the death penalty in Texas asking if Perry had trouble sleeping at night due to the prospect of an innocent inmate being executed.

Would Williams have ever asked a question of a liberal candidate in favor of abortion if they had trouble sleeping at night over hundreds of thousands of innocent unborn babies being sucked from the womb?

I think not, and that’s why now after seeing Newt stand up to this stupid, biased line of questioning by the mainstream media we’re getting new ground rules for the debates -no clapping or jeering at the moderators.

But the U.S. and other more developed countries with more of what they call useable resources (as opposed to say Zimbabwe dollars or Venezuelan pesos), in reality finance a larger percentage of IMF funding than their quota would suggest.

According the The Washington Times the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) says that it’s now illegal discrimination to require job applicants to have a high school education.

What on earth is Google gonna do? I see in the WSJ they toss out brain-twisters to job applicants such as these:

“What’s the next number in this sequence:  10, 9, 60, 90,70,60 . . . ? or, ” How many times a day do a clock’s hands overlap?”

testing if can they think on their feet and how imaginative they are, or what kind of problem solvers they may turn out to be if hired. Censorship does not happen overnight, but Google, AOL, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc., have had plenty of practice in the above regimes using various methods of discouragement at the behest of those governments. But perhaps it’s getting a little too close for comfort with our own government’s plan to seriously and permanently damage the way the internet works for all with SOPA floating through Congress as we speak, the internet biggies (Google, eBay, Facebook, Twitter, and the like) are worried and planning an industry-wide protest, saying

“legislation aimed at tackling online piracy would create an “internet blacklist bill” that would encourage censorship, kill jobs and give US authorities unrivalled powers over the world’s websites.”

I guess maybe that worm has turned turned for those companies who were all too accommodating for dictators of the world. I personally don’t want to give the Justice Department this kind of authority when they already pick and choose the parts of the constitution they want to uphold or ignore.

Hello tyranny, goodbye liberty

On New Year’s eve when most of us were ringing in the new year and trying to forget 2011, President Obama signed while vacationing in Hawaii, the controversial and not very popular National Defense Authorization Act, (NDAA). This law basically throws out the Bill of Rights (hat-tip NaturalNews.com and my friend Penny on Maui).

It grants the U.S. military the “legal” right to conduct secret kidnappings of U.S. citizens, followed by indefinite detention, interrogation, torture and even murder. This is all conducted completely outside the protection of law, with no jury, no trial, no legal representation and not even any requirement that the government produce evidence against the accused. It is a system of outright government tyranny against the American people, and it effectively nullifies the Bill of Rights.

Remember the Constitutional ‘professor’ (ok apparently he was just a lecturer), Barrack Obama in 2008 characterized the Constitution as

“a charter of negative rights, a charter of negative liberties, saying what the states and federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf.”

This is scary stuff and it’s greatly expanded the nanny-state and the entitlement mentality of our country, not to mention the reach and grasp of the federal government. Hello tyranny, goodbye liberty.

CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations *un-indicted co-conspirator in the biggest terrorism case in America’s history*) has announced that the Department of Defense will after pressure by that group, allow Muslim and Sikh students participating in Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) to wear headscarves and turbans while in uniform!! (hat-tip, The Daily Caller).

Head scarves, hajibs, etc., have been banned in France and even Tunisia and Turkey in civil service, schools and political institutions, FGS, but our Defense Secretary thinks it okay after CAIR wrote to Secretary Leon Panetta requesting “constitutionally-protected religious accommodations for Muslim” (women) JROTC participants.

What’s next? Will it soon be okay for Muslims slipping into every fabric of American life to carry out their religious beliefs to the nth degree based on nondiscrimination and religious freedom -when it comes to killing the infidels who one day refuse to keep going along to get along? We must stop giving in to groups like CAIR whose goal is step by step Islamization of American and western culture because if we don’t there will be no American culture.

Note that CAIR is the same organization that pushes for Shari’a law in U.S. courts, is behind the destruction of Christian symbols in schools and public places, and constantly filing suit against American companies (Lowe’s recently) for discrimination. At some point you gotta see the big picture.

Fortunately, the Military has refused to remove the Christian and Jewish symbols. Here’s the link. Interestingly I was unable to insert the YouTube video directly as the ‘Embedding has been disabled by request’ (by whom? inquiring minds want to know).

MRFF calls itself the Constitutional Conscience of the United States Military, further stating:

“The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is the sole nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantee of both freedom of religion and freedom from religion, to which they and all Americans are entitled.”

My little pocket copy of The Constitution, Amendment 1 reads slightly different;

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Comparing the above 2 quotes, the first from MRFF and the second verbatim from The Bill of Rights, Amendment 1, of The Constitution you can see a little bit of distortion in the first. This distortion is what the ACLU, atheists, jihadists and the PC crowd use all the time as they continue to force religion from public places, our schools and military bases. And look where it’s gotten us over the last 20 years.

Clearly Major Nidal Malik Hasan was practicing his freedom of religion when he murdered 13 and wounded 29 others as a ‘SoA‘ (soldier of Allah). And MRFF was right there blaming the Military.

This same political correctness and constitutional distortion is undoubtedly responsible for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center banning family members from bringing bibles to injured soldiers at the center. Ditto for the congressional commission which just ruled that members of the US House may not include the greeting “Merry Christmas” in their official mail - but they can say, “Happy New Year”.
