What do President Obama and the NFL have in common?
They both perpetuate the farce of Responsibility. Fiscal responsibility on the part of Obama in the uber ridiculous posit that this administration is going after those mean, old nasty ‘profit at anyone’s expense’ GOLDMAN SACHS boys, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in chastising BEN ROETHLISBERGER, saying that the league’s conduct policy gave him the right to impose discipline regardless of whether Roethlisberger broke the law.
IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO CODDLING THOSE WHO LINE YOUR POCKETS. It’s nothing more than the cost of doing business.
Just look at how professional sports has again and again protected, shielded, coddled and thereby encouraged -all the while benefiting from their golden boy stars who are repeat offenders involved in weapons and drug violations, sexual assault scandals, animal cruelty and yes, even murder. They should be in jail! All of them -the offenders and their protectors.
It’s no different with Obama holding his ‘fiscal responsibility’ summit to prove, according to The Heritage Foundation, that they are serious about putting the nation on a sounder financial footing all the while spending us into oblivion but having you think they are actually going to do something about the big banks and financial institutions like Goldman Sachs. Whatever sanctions (slaps on the wrist or fines imposed) are just like with the NFL -the cost of doing business.
Did you know that Goldman Sachs present and past bigwigs and their supporters (among other insiders like Al Gore) will make millions if not billions of dollars on back door deals that have been in the works since when Obama as a Congressman from Chicago was voting in their favor and pushing legislation to their benefit like the formation of the CCX. You probably haven’t heard of that. It’s the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) which operates North America’s only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide.
Are these altruistic people really going to help the planet or just make a huge amount of money? Read about it here if you care to follow the thread (or the money?) where it leads.
All I gotta say is you better not be asleep at the wheel because things are running downhill pretty dang fast.
