The Lady Has Some Cajones!

I am liking Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona more and more.

I like that she came right out of what looked like a defeat with the Federal Judge imposing a temporary injunction against Arizona’s immigration law that was to go into effect tomorrow, saying “We’re not gonna quit. The American people are behind this and we’ll take it all the way to the Supreme Court.”

My husband and I decided right then and there to contribute to Arizona’s legal defense fund after the setback yesterday and you can too, right here!

I especially like the press release she put out in response to Phoenix Suns owner sent to me by a reader. This is a GREAT analogy. Here it is:

Subject: Arizona governor vs. Phoenix Suns owner

The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Robert Sarver, opposes AZ’s new immigration laws. Arizona’s Governor, Jan Brewer, released the following statement in response to Sarver’s criticism of the new law:

“What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people were sneaking into games without paying?

What if they had a good idea who the gate-crashers are, but the ushers and security personnel were not allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees couldn’t be ejected.

Furthermore, what if Suns’ ownership was expected to provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and drink?

And what if, on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or injured, the Suns had to provide free medical care and shelter?” -Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer

Please contribute if you can. Governor Jan Brewer is fighting for all of us!

Please view this YouTube to the end. It’s sad but true.

Aloha, Mikie

We agree with you about Jan Brewer. I also think it is the time for term limits. I have seen first hand how once elected an office holder becomes drunk with power.

  2. Bob Bills says:

Sobering article by David Stockman-lifelong Republican and head of the OMB under Reagan.

A case for term limits! ALL politicians abandon their principals to get reelected. Bush abandoned free market principals way before the 1st stimulus and not to be outdone, DEMS quadrupled that amount in less than 2 years! 90% of incumbents need to GO!
