Remember all the hype and angst about the last government shutdown and how unproductive the Congress was last session? Well take a gander at this.
“Behold my display of the 2013 Federal Register. “It contains over 80,000 pages of new rules, regulations, and notices all written and passed by unelected bureaucrats.”
But here’s the part where you really need to pay attention: “The small stack of papers on top of the display are the laws passed by elected members of Congress and signed into law by the president.”
You may recall from Article 1, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution that “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
That’s all it says. There is no language or charge or power given to unelected bureaucrats. This is why our freedom and liberties are at risk. You vote your bad Congress people out but these huge, monstrous federal commissions, departments, boards and bureaus exist in perpetuity -forever!

When you look at the load of crap spewed out by our federal government in just the last year is it any wonder job participation rate is the lowest since the 1960s or that the real unemployment numbers are so high and why so many people in the once greatest country on the face of the earth now live in poverty? No, it’s no wonder. Here is the reason why.
