Think about it.
1) A federal court (the 9th Circuit Court-the most liberal in the country) ruled yesterday that a northern California high school did not violate the constitutional rights of its students in 2010 when school officials made them turn their American flag T-shirts inside out on Cinco de Mayo or be sent home due to fears of racial violence. BTW, the Mexican kids were allowed to display the Mexican flag and did. The American kids with flags on their clothing were sent home under threat of suspension if they refused to turn their shirts inside out.
2) No Spanish, No Job! The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is responsible for enforcing non-discrimination against job applicants or employees because of a person’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetic information (huh?).
This has NOT prevented many, many AMERICAN job seekers from being shut out of jobs unless they can speak Spanish.
3) Para Español, marques el numero dos. You know what I think every time I hear this when I do my online banking or hear this recording many other places? I think FU*K you -learn English! This is America! It also grinds the hell out of me when I go into Home Depot and other stores and see bilingual signs.
