According to CNSNews.com, EVERY newly elected GOP Senator who won in yesterday’s election campaigned on repealing Obamacare.
- Sens. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.)
- David Perdue (R-Ga.)
- Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa)
- Sen Thom Tillis (R-N.C.)
- Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.)
- Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.)
- Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.)
- Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.)
- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.)
Of course we can continue to count on many of the incumbent Republican Senators who won re-election, largely due to the Tea Party grassroots swallowing spit after the way they were dissed in the Primaries, and dug in campaigning for Republicans so they could retire Harry Reid, to waffle and equivocate on full repeal.
The fact of the matter is the (not) Affordable Care Act was upheld by the Supreme Court who called it a tax. And taxes are reconcilable which can be pursued with only 51 votes in the Senate. Obamacare not surprizingly turned out to be the #1 issue in this historic mid-term election, so it’s our job to hold their feet to the fire!
Here is the LA Times 2014 election results. NOTE: some states may not be final.
