Republican Governors Making Bold Changes; Illinois Governor Makes Union Dues Voluntary For State Workers

Now this is the type of executive order I like to see! According to DailySignal.com (Heritage Foundation) Illinois lacks a right-to-work law so most government workers must pay union dues to hold their jobs.right to work

The recently elected Republican Governor Gov. Bruce Rauner has seen in his short tenure that these public service contracts have crippled the states’ finances and cost the state taxpayers 26% more than comparable private sector jobs. Illinois has the most underfunded pension system in the entire country. Illinois also has the 2nd-highest property taxes in the country and has had to continually raise income & business taxes to pay government union benefits.

Tell me, with stats like this what was the former Governor Pat Quinn doing that he didn’t notice the Democrat-union Ponzi scheme dragging his state down? Oh I forgot, he was benefiting from it! We could hope that this would spread to other states with Republican governors, but the Democrats are always a step ahead and have been bringing a whole new class of voters across the southern border as fast as they can who will be union members as soon as they get around to signing up after applying for work permits, driver licenses, Social Security, food stamps, Obamacare, and low-income tax credits.

I suspect the new Republican governor didn’t need Union money to bankroll his candidacy as did Obama for POTUS. Makes me nauseous !!!!
