From the Activist Post. Kuwait in the aftermath of the June 26th ISIS terrorist bombing of a Shia Mosque in Kuwait City that killed 25 and injured anther 200 has passed mandatory DNA testing for every citizen, foreign resident, and visitor.
Shia vs Sunni is a fourteen century schism and the cause for much of the ‘Muslim on Muslim’ violence in the Middle East. Sunnis make up 68-80% of all Muslims and Kuwait is roughly 70% Sunni, 30% Shia. Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled al-Sabah knows this bombing won’t be the end of it and has taken the frightening step of mandatory DNA testing with the oh so familiar meme of boosting security measures -sounding reminiscent of President Bush pushing the passage of the Patriot Act after 9/11.
So will we go down that road here in the USA with the increasing police state? Don’t dismiss it so quickly. There already 28 states (up from 15 in 2009), as well as the feds that collect DNA with every criminal arrest regardless of whether or not there are any convictions as a result of those arrests, allowing the government to obtain sensitive & private information on a person without any precursor level of suspicion. Just more data mining by our own government. Barely anything is private anymore. Rapid DNA Analyzers is being pushed by law enforcement making it faster and easier to collect and profile your and my, DNA. What could possibly go wrong? Do you trust your government?

PS ~ever heard of an administrative subpoena? Well I’ll you a hint it does not involve a federal judge finding probable cause. It’s a gross obliteration of our 4th Amendment rights. And now it’s being applied to medical records. Do you trust your government?
