Was This Caused By Those Demanding a Higher Minimum Wage?

It has been said that several well-established, successful restaurants closed in Seattle in anticipation of the mandated $15/hour minimum wage. Restaurants operate under the very thin profit margins so it is likely that the higher minimum wage caused some to close shop resulting in lost jobs

Now we see the world’s first completely robotic hotel in Japan.

Was the pressure to keep raising the minimum wage the reason for this robo-hotel in Japan? Well maybe that and the fact that Japan has an inverted age pyramid (the old & the older) with fewer and fewer younger people being born to fill the job requirements of the country. It’s a virtual demographic time bomb.

Help pass liberty on to the next generation.
