Hat-tip Zero Hedge. French President Francois Hollande on Friday awarded Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif France’s highest national honor, the Legion of Honor for “for his efforts in the region and around the world to combat extremism and terrorism.”
Do you get the absurdity in that? Saudi Arabia is a terrorist factory. Saudi Arabia has been exporting terrorism for donkey’s years! There are for example about 24,000 ‘madrassas’ (Saudi sponsored schools teaching intolerance and militancy) in Pakistan alone.
I don’t know what the French are smoking but I want some. Maybe Hollande forgot that fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabian. And there was what’s his name too,
Obama Osama bin Laden who brought jihad to America. The Charlie Hebdo attack and the Paris attacks just a couple of weeks before our own San Bernardino terrorist attack all bear the stamp of approval in Wahhabism.
Wahhabism is a religious movement or sect or form of Sunni Islam variously described as orthodox, ultra-conservative, austere, fundamentalist, puritanical (or puritan). But I’m guessing the women who are forced to live under it don’t like it so much. Under this purity women in the kingdom are not permitted to drive and require their husband’s permission to open a bank account. They need to be accompanied by a male guardian whenever they leave the house. They cannot compete freely in sports, try on clothes while shopping or read an uncensored fashion magazine. Ye gads!
But honestly, the US are almost as bad as the French. Our leaders continually call Saudi Arabia an ally. They who flog apostates, export Sunni extremism, treat women as chattel. They beat and imprison gays. They import slave labor from abroad. There is no such thing as freedom of religion or freedom of speech. Their royal family is famously corrupt. And they really, really want to start a whole bunch of wars that they would very much like America to fight for them.
I don’t get it!
