Not satisfied with the thousands of jobs lost (and gone forever) and the 78,020 pages of new regulations already added to the Federal Register this year EPA chief Gina McCarthy told her staff,
“We’re running — not walking — through the finish line of President Obama’s presidency.”
I guess the libs still don’t get it. This is why they lost Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin ~and the election! They been defecating on the American workers for too long. These rules & regulations imposed by mostly un-elected, ideological lifers come at a very high price to the economy. You know the one that has been in the tank for the last 8 years.
This is one campaign promise Obama kept, but it cost the progs the election in 2016.
One such rule coming down the pipeline from the EPA is an update to a 2011 law to limit smog from traveling across state borders. Huh? This updated ruling according to Regblog.org which tracts such things will impact roughly one thousand coal-, gas-, and oil-fired power facilities at a cost of $800 million dollars. Of course the all-seeing, all-knowing EPA says this updated ruling will “prevent over thirteen thousand premature deaths, improve visibility in national and state parks, and protect vulnerable ecosystems in the Adirondack and Appalachian Mountains”.
All too frequently these federal agencies are imposing life styles and nudging us away from personal choice & liberty. The Dept. of Energy is another out of control federal agency which has gone down a very disturbing “regulatory path” in its quest to make energy use and preferred lifestyle choices on behalf of American families and businesses.
I guess the libs still don’t get it. This is why they lost Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The Republicans in Congress have warned the Administration that Trump will likely undo much of what is done with their all-powerful magic regulatory wands, but that’s always easier said than done.
