I’m solidly in the #MeToo camp. No, not joining the voices complaining of sexual assault but rather the growing number of people cheering on Trump. And hell no, I’m not tired of winning and it’s killing the Democrats!
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you can go back to the days when I doubted Trump was anything but a blow heart, and certainly not a conservative. Here is another example. But in less than a year he has proven me wrong.
After the GOP totally blew the Obamacare repeal I was sure that tax reform would never happen and I was a skeptic believing that they were not going to give enough relief to the middle class, but now after the reform bill passed both houses of Congress but before Trump has even signed the bill numerous companies have already come out and proven that it will greatly improve the economy.
Keep in mind the left has demonized the tax reform bill so much that it only had 26% approval in the polls. You know, “it’s going to kill people, it’s a huge tax break for the rich, it’s not fair to poor and middle class people” etc., etc. The Dims (not a typo!) have succeeded in convincing people that corporations are evil, ditto capitalism, but early evidence and reaction by big corporations is already proving that false (hat-tip American Thinker):
Within hours of the tax cut passing:
Wells Fargo said it is raising minimum wages to $15 per hour.
Fifth Third Bank is giving year-end bonuses to the 13,500 employees that are not senior executives and is raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour.
Boeing said it is putting an additional $300 billion into charitable and employee-related expenses as a result of the tax changes.
Comcast is giving $1,000 bonuses to 100,000 non-executive employees and is upping capital spending, which will trickle through the economy.
Boy, these corporations are evil!
