Palin Power Does It Again Forcing Runoff Btwn “Cocktail Party” & Tea Party

May 30, 2012

Who ya gonna call? Ghost Busters or Sarah Palin? Palin has succeed again in influencing a primary race outcome. This time in Texas where she endorsed Ted Cruz for the senate seat being vacated by the retiring Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Cruz was running against the “Cocktail Party” establishment Republican candidate, Lt. Governor David Dewhurt and managed enough votes to force a July 31st runoff election. This despite being far outspent by Dewhurst and having very little name recognition going into the race. I’d pretty much stick with Palin.

Maybe it’s a Three Times a Charm thing for Palin having swayed the outcome in 2 other races (Dick Lugar and Deb Fischer) in as many weeks, but something tells me she’s not gonna stop there!

Aloha, Mikie
