The Government Does NOT Belong in Newsrooms!

February 22, 2014

Ya think? FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai is likely to be audited by the IRS for his Wall Street Journal OpEd blowing the whistle on his own agency which is planning to embed spys in our newsrooms.

Amendment 1.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof: or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Yeah I do think. I think the Obama administration (along with his monstrous bureaucratic army of sycophants has been particularly egregious at overstepping the boundaries of the executive branch, trampling more and more of liberties every day. But lest you place all the blame on Obama for this particular attempt at silencing government opposition, according to The Blaze,  this FCC “study” to figure out why they cover the stories they do, was designed and adopted under previous leadership. More and more it’s “Us against them”.

A field test in Columbia, S.C., is scheduled to begin this spring. And BTW, since we have so much money to waste US taxpayers will be paying for this study.

I repeat:  the Government does not belong in newsrooms!

ACLU & Govt Elites Out To Lunch, On Vacation, AWOL or Just More Concerned With The Civil Liberties of Islamists?

September 18, 2012

It’s a sickening site witnessing Hildebeast read from prepared notes as she condemned the anti-Islam video.

That she has to read it, and that her condemnation for the brutal rape and murder of Ambassador Stevens and 3 other Americans is directed toward a YouTube video (or a cartoon, or a barbequed Quran, etc.) is what is disgusting and reprehensible! A real American (patriot?) would be boiling over with proper outrage at the repeated savagery of Muslims gone wild -all over the world, using this video as a convenient excuse to do what they do.

And this is really choice. Yesterday was Constitution Day (the anniversary of the signing of our Constitution). Visiting the website of the ACLU in preparation for this blog I am greeted by ACLU President Susan Herman, with a cheerful Happy Constitution Day! and a suggestion for how one might celebrate this occasion. It goes like this:

“Gather some patriots — cakes and ale and three-cornered hats optional — and as a party game, see if your guests can answer some basic questions about the Constitution. For example:

  1. What are the three branches of government?
  2. How many senators are there?
  3. What are the four rights guaranteed by the First Amendment?
  4. Does the Constitution establish the United States as a Christian nation?”

This begs the question, what planet does this Susan Herman person live on? And what is the targeted age group for this game? Pa-leeeeze. Whatever her salary or remuneration, she is vastly overpaid!

Just so we’re all on the same page ACLU is the American Civil Liberties Union. And irony of all ironies, looking at their suggestions for this game (espec #3 above), I wonder where the hell they have been the past few days. They must have missed the fact that our very own U.S. Department of Justice under cover of darkness, has hunted down and detained an American citizen who exercised his guaranteed First Amendment right to free speech in making the subject video.

Regarding the “gather some patriots” bit, just do not look too deep within our current cast of government officials because I can guarantee (there’s that word again), you will be sorely disappointed. They are much more concerned about political correctness and not offending Islam or the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hello Sharia, goodbye free speech in America.
