This Could Be a Good Thing. Allen West Hints He May Take a Run at The Senate in 2016 ~Against Rubio!

June 19, 2013

How many of you have been disappointed in Senator Marco Rubio for selling out on “Comprehensive Immigration Reform“? I know I am. His flimsy excuse that we have to “legalize” millions of illegals before we secure the border -so that we can pay for securing the border with the fines collected from those coming out of the shadows is too much to swallow (pay fines, learn English, no welfare -just trust us. Yeah, right!).

As Mark Levin says,

“They’re not in the shadows! They’re on the corner at the 7/11 scabbing jobs from Americans!”

You may remember former Representative Allen West narrowly lost his House seat last year as a result of redistricting. He has no intention of running for the House again, but says (hat-tip cnsnews from The Hill) he may run a primary campaign to challenge Senator Marco Rubio if he sees people not standing up for the right type of principals and putting their own party politics ahead of what’s best for America.

As a Lt. Col. in the US Army, Allen West accepted an Article 15 non-judicial punishment from the commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division at a hearing in Tikrit, Iraq in 2003 for standing up for men in his command and thwarting an impending attack on American soldiers. West was reprimanded, docked 2 month’s pay and transferred to Ft. Hood, Texas to process his requested retirement after the incident.

West took charge of an interrogation from World Net Daily, of an Iraqi policeman and threatened to kill him, firing a shot near his head to get him to talk. Asked at his hearing if he would do the same again, West stated:

“If it’s about the lives of my men and their safety, I’d go through hell with a gasoline can.”

Yeah, I kinda like this guy!

Call Yourself a Conservative? Then Prove It!

October 31, 2011

And proving it won’t be voting for Mitt Romney any more than voting for John McCain did. The only good thing to come of his miserable candidacy was Sarah Palin (oh, and the slap upside the head when people finally figured out that ‘Hope & Change’). McCain was never a conservative, he was just the old guy Republican the GOP leaders foisted upon us. Today 70% of polled Republicans do not favor Mitt Romeny. He was a liberal governor of a liberal state (the most liberal state) and he authored Romneycare in Massachusetts.

Even not-so Sharpton calls Romney out!

Then why are the old guard Republicans (the national committee, RINOs and moderate Republicans) pushing Mitt Romney on us? And why are all these states advancing their primary debates? Because they want to shape the election and shorten the time frame for the 2nd tier candidates (Obama wasn’t even 2nd tier at this point in ’08) to build support.

Most of all, they don’t want a conservative (any more than they wanted Sarah Palin), they want a ‘big government’ guy who will be just like all the rest of them. This is what turns good candidates and voters off to politics. If you go with another big government guy there is no difference between the Dems and GOP. And BTW, if you had to venture a guess as to where the “un-sourced, anonymous” stories about Cain and sexual harassment came from, who would you point the finger at? I’m just asking.

The bigger point is, they favor a top-down, centrist government which can only come at the cost of our individual liberty. We need a conservative in favor of a smaller federal government, more states’ rights, fewer regulations and big time TAX REFORM! Ultimately, it may not be Herman Cain, but these are the ideals we should be looking for in a candidate to get America back to its greatness again.

Translations From The Daily News

August 29, 2011

Number 1 –

“For the First Time in My Adult Lifetime, I’m Really Proud of My Country”

This from would-be First Lady Michelle Obama back in 2008 when more of us should have been paying a-freaking-ttention,

“because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

Today I think this means:

‘Now that my husband is the most powerful man in America on the planet, and I am one the elite (millionaires & billionaires), who cares what people think when we go on vacation to Martha’s Vineyard -to the same place on government jets 4 hours apart!

** As a side note, the President and Michelle and the girls also returned to Washington D.C. after their vacation at separate times on separate jets each with their own separate entourage.

Number 2 –

From a recent note in West Hawaii Today, a quote from U.S. Representative Colleen Hanabusa:

“After much thought and reflection, I have determined that I can best serve Hawaii by seeking re-election for a 2nd term in the U.S. House of Representatives.”

In bullcrap govt-speak, this means:

‘I would love to be a Senator to have more power and not have to keep getting re-elected every 2 years, (Senators have 6-year terms and generally wield more power), but if I resign as U.S. Rep and lose (a big possibility), then I’m SOL without a paddle, so I’ll keep the phony-balony job I already have.’

Number 3 –

Cass Sunstein, the White House administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs on cost savings from the final plan to eliminate duplication of government services (like 47 federal job training and employment programs!) and reduce red tape:

“The cost savings are a pretty big deal, and probably would boost job growth.”

But actually, like Obama’s tired “Saved or Created” mantra everyone in the administration from here on through the election is mandated to mention ‘job growth’ at least 6 times in every sentence uttered so that by election time some (the less witted anyway) may believe it, but not most private sector business owners.

Like Mark Levin, one of my favorite conservatives, said recently,

“Mother nature in the form of floods, hurricanes and earthquakes will produce far more jobs than Obama!”

No translation needed!

He’s right. And another thing he pointed out is that no matter how smart you are, or how hard you try (or how much you tax it), you cannot dissuade Mother Nature from her natural course –

“Including climate change, you idiots!”
