Some of my friends are still telling me they intend to study the issues and evaluate the candidates before they vote this November. This to me is a chicken-sh*t way of saying,
“I’m too lazy to pay attention”
“I’m still gonna vote for Obama”
So I’ll try to make it easy for those people in providing this recap (hat-tip Chris White, and THE BLAZE).
If you’re short on time, like running out the door to one of your two or three jobs you can cut through Obama’s tired rhetoric and just start at about 1:45, but the real hum-dinger comes from Nancy Pelosi at 1:55 (once again confirming she is mind-numbingly stupid).
I guess maybe this hit a little too close to home because Jay Carney, White House Press stooge made an angry call to Fox News complaining “the video crossed the line -even for Fox & Friends”.
And naturally bowing to PC pressure, Fox News removed the video from it’s website. I guess it’s just not PC to tell the truth.

This one takes the cake! No, not a Martha Stewart decorated with dandelions from your yard cake, but this one really tops all others in the ‘screwed by Congress again’ category.
Living behind bars
You may remember Martha Stewart went to jail. Five months in a federal prison for avoiding a loss of $45,673 by selling stock she owned after receiving material, nonpublic information from her broker, according to Wiki. She was charged, convicted and served time in addition to paying a $30,000 fine.
So why is Congress exempt from this same type of activity?????
Watch the whole thing. Then call your congressmen and insist they sign on as co-sponsors to H.R. Bill 1148, the Stock Act. I’ll bet you $100 they never even heard of it. Make it your job that they do.

Here’s a startling deficit factoid from today’s edition of Hawaii Free Press you didn’t want to hear:
“The federal government has accumulated more new debt-$3.22 trillion ($3,220,103,625,307.29) during the tenure of the 111th Congress (the group who just finished under the leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi), than it did during the first 100 Congresses combined, according to official debt figures published by the U.S Treasury.”
Here’ the little fib Nancy told:
Unfortunately during here tenure the federal government has run up a shopping $5.177 trillion in new debt. (again courtesy of Hawaii Free Press).
The incoming Congress is planning on countering the PAYGO scheme (which the House leaders promptly exempted every spending bill from as emergency spending) with the CUTGO project. I don’t hold much hope, but we’ll see won’t we?
Remember it’s our job in these next 2 years to make the Republicans do what they said before they got elected or re-elected. Burn baby burn, the fire could get hot!
