Sorry, but don’t let the facts smack you in the face

August 10, 2020

I’m still taking university classes and I love what I can learn in 5 minutes. That’s right Prager University, is teaching millions of people 5 minutes at a time. Who can’t spare 5 minutes here and there to get smarter? Here’s the latest and I like it so much I just have to post it here.

The slipping away of our First Amendment

July 15, 2019

We’re losing it folks, our First Amendment rights are slipping fast. All in the name of fairness, social justice and all that crap. Consider this.

We must all fight back or soon there won’t be anything to fight for.

This is worth your time!

March 24, 2019

Watch “The Candace Owens Show: Brandon Tatum”. I just wonder when it’s gonna get banned, but so far it hasn’t so go for it.

Put it on while you’re cooking or doing something you gotta do anyway like housework. Just plug yourself into earbuds and away you go. You’ll still benefit, but if you can sit & watch it even better. Candace especially has some really good facial expressions & Brandon is cool too.

I haven’t posted in a long time. Super busy with Convention of States and other things. I mean I’m always busy doing stuff but I also have a killer backache. Too much of what I do has me being a slave to the computer and I’m telling you it’s not good. It started with a new couch we bought back in October. Just because it was costly$$ doesn’t mean it’s comfortable. I had to immediately go out and buy a futon mattress so I can watch the teevee at night, laying on the dang floor.

Anyway enough complaining, but I’m banging this out flat on my back on my tablet. I hope you enjoy it. In fact you probably want to subscribe to The Candace Owens Show so you don’t miss a single one.

Guest post; lazy way out? Maybe but the launch of Candace Owens’ show is a winner!

March 4, 2019

If you are not familiar with Dennis Prager or Prager University -get with it!

Dennis Prager is suing Google & YouTube for censoring him and other conservative voices. As you can imagine, that’s a big climb. If you haven’t been watching the excellent 5 minute videos Prager University produces, check it out and subscribe for a 5-minute education on a myriad of subjects.

But the Candace Owens Show is not a 5-minuter. Dennis Prager is reaching out and it’s great. This is her debut.

So you want to be a Millionaire

January 21, 2019

The one thing that amazes me most about the partial government shutdown, and no, it’s not how Democrats refuse to support now what they all agreed was necessary less than ten years ago. It’s the fact that so many of these federal workers were unprepared for the possibility of being furloughed as a given in their jobs as federal workers.

How many government shutdowns have there been? Gee, only 17 times since 1976. That’s one government shutdown every two and a half years. In other words it’s part of the job description that you will likely be furloughed multiple times over your government work career. So why are so many people caught with their proverbial thumbs up their posterior? The answer is that just like the government, they spend too much of what they take in. Now before you feel too sorry for these federal workers, they make an average of 17% more than comparable jobs in the private sector and are more generously compensated with benefits like healthcare and retirement plans.

According to a recent article on Forbes.com 78% of US workers live paycheck-to-paycheck. Read that again. Seventy-eight percent of people live paycheck-to-paycheck. That astounds the heck out of me.

Prager University has a solution to the problem:  hard work & planning.

The House Democrats waste no time in dismantling our Republic

January 4, 2019

The Democrats are wasting no time in dismantling our Republic. This story comes from The Daily Wire.

Yesterday, the first day the in session for the new Congress, Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen introduced a bill to eliminate the electoral college. This is a sad illustration of the mindset of the Democrats. They only care about winning and nothing about representing all Americans. They either don’t understand how a Democratic Republic works or more likely, they do not care.

Representative Cohen (D-TN) who introduced the bill said “Americans expect and deserve the winner of the popular vote to win office”. And my answer is, no we don’t, not if we understand the purpose of the electoral college which is to prevent tyranny of the majority. Prager University explains it so well.

The blue states in the graphic below are those where Hillary Clinton won the most number of individual votes. She won the popular vote by a margin of 2.86 million.

In 2016 because of shear population numbers if we followed the popular vote, California & New York alone would have determined the election outcome. What about the people in all the other 48 states? Their voice doesn’t matter?

The Founders wisely created the Electoral College system so that one or 2 states alone would never be able to elect a president leaving all the rest unrepresented.

We haven’t heard the end of this. The amendment proposal introduced yesterday likely will fail, but the National Popular Vote or the NPV, is a much more dangerous movement gaining steam and does not require a constitutional amendment. It very likely could turn our Representative Republic into a Democracy where majority (as determined only by the number popular votes) rules. That’s the end of this country as we know it.

And BTW in just the first 36 hours of the “Pelosi: House:  Articles of impeachment, a move to abolish the electoral college, comparisons of the president to Hitler, a nonstarter vote on the shutdown, profanity, a proposal for a 70% tax on the “wealthy”.

What do Easter European countries know that we in the Wests don’t seem to get?

October 25, 2018

Hat-tip American Thinker. Countries where communist regimes had lasted for as long as four decades and left a permanent mark on local population possess different experiences and understanding of the world affairs from those of their western counterparts.  They have, for example, good knowledge of what socialism is and how extreme some left-wing policies can actually be in real life. This is why when you talk to immigrants from Eastern Europe they are almost invariably conservative. They have lived life under socialists or communists and they don’t like the way our country is headed.

According to a 2018 Gallup poll the majority of 18-29 year-olds view Socialism favorably (hat-tip Prager University). This should scare the hell out of all of us because it means they are listening the Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’ of the world. They are falling for total government support & the free stuff. Make that the promised free stuff because anyone with 2 brains cells (BTW, can you believe Ocasio Cortez graduated from Boston college with a degree in economics??) knows that Medicare for all means Medicare for none!

Here’s a good place to start:  The Three Values that Make America Great, The American Trinity.

More from Prager University later, but if you want to throw them a little love, you can right here. BTW did you know PragerU was suing Google & YouTube for discrimination and censoring their conservative videos. It’s a battle for our culture and our country folks. No kidding.

Public Union: Public Enemy

October 1, 2018

I’m not sure what the Democrats have unleashed in this Kavanaugh confirmation circus, but I doubt it will be good. There are so many other things we need to be paying attention to.

I know we don’t have the time or energy to pay attention to things that really matter like crippling debt, unfunded liabilities and the total dysfunction in our federal government, but we do have non-stop entertainment from people like Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono and the rest of the goons on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

But somehow lazy, mouthy Mazie found it acceptable to take campaign contributions from a Democrat who admitted hitting his wife, and looked the other way regarding Senator Daniel Inouye had his own #MeToo moment years ago. Oh and don’t forget about all the secret tax-payer funded pay-offs to women who’d been harassed by (mostly Democratic) Congressmen & Senators?

It’s a sad time for America is all I can say.

Europe is Toast

May 14, 2018

Another great educational, common sense video (OMG, I sound like those whacky gun control advocates!) from the great Prager University. This one titled:  The Suicide of Europe.

The question is, how far behind is the USA in this suicide? Pass this on to everyone you can.

Food For Thought When You Hear That Trump Is A Racist

January 15, 2018

Senator Rand Paul defended Donald Trump on Meet The Press with Chuck Todd yesterday and again today on Fox & Friends saying Trump funded medical missions to Central America (brown people) and Haiti (and more brown people) before he was ever in politics. Trump’s  “shit hole” comments if he actually said them, were inarticulate, but true and not much different from what many of us have thought or said in the privacy of our own homes.

And then there’s this -a little history about the Republican Party from Prager University.

So who are the racists again?
