Disillusioned & Still Think You May Not Vote? Ponder This

July 29, 2012

Sure he’s made some gaffes, flipped and flopped here and there and he certainly wasn’t my ideal presidential candidate, but what do you think about this?

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE HILLARY CLINTON

So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn’t get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can’t win…, just imagine this possibility!

And keep in mind these four things:

1. Justice Scalia is 78

2. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year

3. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August

4. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago

Whoever is elected president in November will most certainly choose at least 1, maybe more new members of the Supreme Court in addition to the hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges making monumental decisions about our lives for decades to come.

Oh How He Loathes The Structure Of Our American Governance; The Balance of Powers

April 3, 2012

You have to wonder what the libs are doing in the shadows to ensure that the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) acts according to the laws of Obama, i.e., that whatever he says goes in his march to equality, fairness and the global good, to hell with American Governance and the separation of powers.

He is King and does not expect to be bucked on this issue -or any other for that matter.

“I’m confident this will be upheld because it should be upheld.”

But he’s worried after last weeks oral arguments when several of the Supreme Court Justices (hopefully enough to overturn this monstrosity) guffawed and laughed out loud at the preposterous arguments put forth by the Solicitor General and others representing the side of the “Affordable (not) Care Act”.

But in preparing for the worst, he flings one final barb at the Court.

“For an unelected group of people to somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law is a good example of that (judicial activism), and I’m pretty sure this court will recognize that and not take that step.”

Get ready for some weeping & wailing & gnashing of teeth if this gets overturned.
