This Is How To Pay for ALL of Hurricane Harvey’s Devastation

September 3, 2017

This is a simple way to fund all the aid to those who’ve been adversely affected by the terrible flooding, etc., in Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee. Get rid of the federal department of education!

There is not one mention of education in the US Constitution as a function of the federal government. In fact, the word “education” does not appear in the Constitution even one time. But more importantly, states and local jurisdictions should have complete control over their schools without the constant meddling by the feds, and meddle they do.

According to Clarion Project, parents across the U.S. have objected to a Department of Education program called “Access Islam“. This is a taxpayer funded program directed at children from grades 5-12 (leaving the transgender education to the kindergarten teachers -I’m not kidding! See example #2 in this post). But take a look at this “Access Islam”:

The 2016 budget for the federal DOE was $68 billion. Of course a lot of that would be block-granted back to the states so they could run their own schools (per the 10th Amendment) without interference from the feds, but there’d be plenty money left over for natural disasters believe me.

Keep in mind that they barely/rarely if ever, even allow the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance or a football coach offering prayer before the game, but they see no problem with pushing hateful Islam on our students, and having us pay for it! This is crazy.

BTW, I don’t really expect that the Dept of Education will be axed, so if you’d like to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey I suggest making a donation, big or small, to the Gulf Coast Disaster Relief Fund (through Rotary Foundation -on the up &up for sure!) by going to the link here.
