This “Creepy Uncle Sam” Should Motivate You to Make Those “Defund” Calls

September 20, 2013

It’s not over yet despite the fact that the Republican leadership (an oxymoron if I ever heard one!) appears to have back-peddled from just last week when they were making sneaky deals with the devil. All the pressure from true conservatives in the House and millions of Americans calling their congressmen urging them to “defund or else” is working, but you cannot quit yet!

For those thinking we’ve won, you cannot slack off your calls just yet! Watch this little piece “Creepy Uncle Sam” for some real motivation.

Our calls and the tremendous pressure from conservative Americans like you and me forced the House to STOP FUNDING OBAMACARE. But we can’t stop there. Now it goes to the Senate which has a Democratic majority.

This is a critical moment and we need everyone making phone calls to Harry Reid to tell him to listen to the voice of the American people.

Call Harry Reid now & tell him we will not rest until we stop Obamacare!

This One’s Up To Us. “We The People”

August 3, 2013

The last best hope for getting rid of Obamacare is up to us folks. Congress has only 9 working days after returning from the current recess to fund the Continuing Resolution to fund the government. The only way to get rid of Obamacare now is to refuse to fund any part of it. Click this link, scroll down and start calling -even if you’ve never done it before. Now is the time to GET OFF YOUR BUTTS!

Congress will only do it if they hear from MILLIONS of us. They don’t have the backbone or political will to do what’s right for America unless forced. The only thing that will force them to do it is fear of being thrown out of office.

What have you heard good about the Affordable Health Care Act? Nothing! What major government program has ever gone away once implemented? None! If this doesn’t piss you off nothing will:

Last week the IRS, the very department charged with enforcing Obamacare has gone to Congress asking to be exempted from Obamacare! This is pure unadulterated gall! And those in Congress and their aides who will be forced to buy insurance under Obamacare (leaders in both parties & their staff have already been exempted), according to the EIB Network, will be lavished with taxpayer-funded subsidies to the tune of 75%.

Sign the Petition Now-

Don’t Fund It!

“I’m Sorry, You’ve Reached the Voicemail for Senator McCain’s Voicemail” Huh? WTF?

July 31, 2013

It’s a lot like any business or restaurant you walk into. If they acknowledge you, smile and are there to serve, you know it right away. If not, well you can expect poor service and lousy customer satisfaction and all at too high a cost. This morning when I called Senator John McCain’s office I actually got the voicemail for his voicemail! I kid you not. Bottom line, many of these guys, the RINOs (John McCain, Jeff Flake, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner) don’t want to talk to you or even hear from you. They’ve made up their mind and made their deals behind the scenes.

Especially don’t call them out for having no spine!

Senators Ted Cruz & Mike Lee are absolutely correct.  Pass the Continuing Resolution to fund the federal government in every aspect except ANY funding for Obamacare. Let the Democrats & Obama be responsible for shutting down the government. We’ll survive. Let’s face it that’s what happens every weekend and holidays. Remember sequester?

Repeal vs Defund

If passing a bill to repeal Obamacare in the House is such an achievement, why do it 37 times?? I’ll tell you why, because it’s not an achievement. The Senate will never pass it, so it’s a waste of time! Defunding it likely the last chance, but the Republicans need to stand up for something and get a backbone! Otherwise, why vote for them in 2014 or 2016?

Sorry folks, this just isn’t the way it was meant to me. This is not representation! They’ve made up their minds, made their deals and have no use for us lowly little constituents -at least until reelection time, then they’re all smiles -with their hand out. It makes me sick!

Support Ted Cruz & Mike Lee. Use this link to call your Senators & House members, tell them to defund Obamacare! The Senate version is called the Defund Obamacare Act of 2013 and Representative Tom Graves of Georgia has introduced a companion bill in the House to accomplish the same thing.

BTW, one of my Senators (Schatz’ staff) suggested I write a letter to get an official response. My other Senator (Hirono’s staff) said I’d get a return email responding to my questions. Representatives Hanabusa and Gabbard’s staff said neither would be voting to repeal Obamacare despite the fact that Obama (unilaterally & unconstitutionally) gave corporations a waiver to Obamacare, but failed to give the same consideration to hard working American individuals.

Wanna See What Your Wife Is Gonna Look Like?

March 30, 2010

Like the old saying predicting what your wife will look like down the road, just check out her mother. The breasts are sagging and the hips are already widening on the prototype to ObamaCare set in place in Massachusetts in 2006, as so well stated in The Wall Street Journal’s REVIEW & OUTLOOK piece earlier this month.

The bills for universal coverage are now coming due in Massachusetts.

Governor Deval Patrick is proposing hard price controls across almost all Massachusetts health care. State regulators already have the ability to cap insurance premiums, and he has filed a bill giving those regulators the power to review rates of hospitals, physician groups and some specialty providers.

Premiums there are already the highest in the nation and per capita healthcare spending in Massachusetts is now 27% more than the national average. In other words they are going broke and consequently politics must shape what gets covered and what doesn’t. As it is right now those mean, old, nasty insurance companies pay out $1.12 for every dollar they collect in premiums. Unlike the unions and the pols in bed with them, who can’t quite figure out the math on ever-increasing wage and benefit packages, insurance companies know they cannot stay in business at this rate.

And like many of us on the Big Island who cannot get a primary care physician, the Massachusetts Medical Society also reported last fall over half of the internists and 40% of family and general practitioners have quit accepting new patients.

So if you want to know what US healthcare thanks to Obama is going to look like just take a gander at what’s going on in Massachusetts.

It’s a Sad Day For America And The World

March 22, 2010

Who will other countries and other people who do not enjoy the freedoms we have always taken for granted, look up to as America becomes more and more like socialist European countries or worse, the hardened communist countries and dictatorships around the globe?

I’ll tell you what. It’s not just conservative Americans who are saddened today with the House passage of Obamacare because now more than ever the American Dream is at risk.

Some tweets on the subject:

  • “@bizyraisingkids:  Very disappointed regarding the Healthcare vote in the House last night!!
  • @KI4LXH:  That’s the way to go franco-unamerican! Gubbement healthfail. I mean hellcare. I mean healthfear. I mean healthcare. Sorry
  • @carrie_AGIns:  So healthcare reform has passed. Passing a bill the constituents don’t want is NOT democracy. It is TYRANNY. So, so disappointed.
  • SC: Unconstitutional intrusion on State’s rights and personal liberties. I can’t wait for the next election!
  • November’s Coming: Born the way they were, huh? Well, at least they were given that opportunity.
  • @kellyoxford Americans will get aboard Univ Health Care once they realize they get to heckle smokers & fat people for stealing their $.

Anyway, I have just signed on the fight for repeal (this morning!) by joining The Heritage Foundation and you can do the same right here, become a part of the mission. If you need to save your money to pay for the 16,500 new IRS agents needed to enforce Obamacare, you can just sign up for the very informative FREE email newsletter that comes every morning and will keep you informed of the left’s progress.

That’s it for now!
