Freedom Minute

This man is becoming my hero. He’s a freshman US Senator and one of very few standing up for “We The People“. He is not pushing for the immigration reform many others have embraced as a way to buy votes or secure a cheap labor force, he is not encouraging us to just do something for the children of Newtown. He is a patriot continually standing up for our Constitutional rights.

It was the usual ‘ gotta tax the rich some more; fair and balanced; rebuild America’s infrastructure; protect our kids and make America a safer place; put 100,000 more teachers in our schools,  bull-crap sorta speech.

A First Person Account Regarding the 2nd Amendment

This says it all -in the first person. Her parents were murdered in Luby’s Cafe in Texas before her eyes. Her licensed gun was in her car because at the time concealed carry was illegal in Texas so she had taken it out of her purse and consequently watched her mother and father gunned down along with 23 pother people that day.

Suzanne went on to serve in the Texas legislature from 1996-2006 and helped changed the concealed carry law allowing people to carry weapons and protect themselves.

How your 2nd Amendment Rights are being squeezed:

• The Supreme Court decisions: D.C. v. Heller & McDonald v. Chicago have since been interpreted as only the right to possess a firearm inside one’s home.
• Foot dragging by the Senate on passing the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act which would treat concealed carry licenses like driver’s licenses across state lines.
• The continuing support by the Obama administration in support of an UN Arms Trade Treaty.
• The ACLU’s position that the 2nd Amendment Right is a collective right rather than an individual right and subject to limitations and removal by Congress or other legislative bodies.
• More and more onerous taxes, registration requirements and fees to license and register guns.
• Some cities bans on firing ranges, gun shops within city limits, etc.
• Confiscation of guns by police (Aug 30, 2005, the day after Katrina hit the Gulf Coast)
• Limits on the number of guns residents can buy

Mea Culpa After Deleting God But Nothing About Justice Dept Running Guns

The Godless liberal media was forced to publicly apologize for deleting God from the Pledge of Allegiance during the US Open and said they’ve ‘reprimanded the individuals responsible’.

Bull-crap, that wasn’t a one-time judgement error. It was a display of the corporate cultural attitude so pervasive in the media today.

BTW, has anyone heard about the Justice Department’s “Operation Fast & Furious”?

I didn’t think so. The media is sitting on it because the scheme to further squash our 2nd Amendment rights went south. Well it’s about to blow up after the death of border agent Brian Terry has been directly attributed to one of the guns our DOJ caused to end up in the hands of the drug cartels at our Southwest border. And Agent Vince Cefalu, the ATF whistle-blower has been fired. His dismissal however, has now made it possible for Cefalu to speak the truth more freely.

And I just learned there’s similar nefarious activity being sponsored by the DOJ on the East Coast down Tampa way. Stay informed here!
