Who Ya Gonna Trust? RINOs, Harry Reid, NOBama or Grover Norquist? None of the Above!

Of course Republicans (ok, only most of them) are ready to denounce Grover Norquist’s (Americans for Tax Reform) tax pledge. This fiscal cliff makes good theater, but it’s so tired. They’ve extended the debt ceiling a ba-zillion times before.

The RINOs, the lib-tards and frankly most in both parties operate solely for their own benefit (power, money, re-election *you choose the order*). So are we surprised so many Republicans are caving again? NO, but Grover Norquist is no Sunday-school teacher in fact, he is a radical Islamist substantiated by this, this and this.

I hated that conservatives and the Tea Party were successfully marginalized at the RNC in August by those sneaky little rule changes (that some say were only housekeeping items), and this is what we get.  RINOs are being RINOs and we shouldn’t be surprised when nothing changes. After all John Boehner, crier of the house -was reelected to lead the miserable Republican Party again!

Sidebar:  God Bless Louis Gohmert, Texas congressman & conservative for at least trying. He nominated Newt Gingrich as Speaker of the House, but didn’t get anywhere. (no you don’t have to be a member of the House to be Speaker).

I wanted to blow things up the day after the election when I heard John Boehner in effect saying:

“The election is over. Obamacare is the law of the land and we may be willing to look at revenue enhancements if we get enough cuts.”

Tell the blank-ity-blank truth!  Just say it, you mean tax increases!! You’re ready to cave in order to get re-elected.

They’re actually talking Jeb Bush for 2016. Gimme shelter. And they wonder why they lost!

It Doesn’t Really Matter Who Won & Here Is All You Need To Know

I’ve been silent since the day before the election and every day since. In fact the jig has been up for a long time with really no possible way out. Santa Claus winning instead of Romney will only accelerate the time line.

Let this be the start of your education in how the world turns out. You cannot change the outcome, but you will have some choices and possibly be able to position yourselves somewhat better than those who want to keep their heads in the sand, watching the garbage puked out at us by the alphabet media. Hell- even Fox and all the right leaning pundits. Same smell. Stop watching a month or so see if anything looks like progress when you turn the garbage back on. HOPE, NOPE, DOPE.

Tell me if you can what the difference is between Harry Reid and say Speaker of the House, John Boehner. YOU CANNOT because there really isn’t any difference. Sure Boner may say it (lie to your face) somewhat more palatable than Dirt-bag Harry, but it’s really ONLY about them holding to their power and fleecing the rest of us as they line their pockets and take care of their elite brethren.

What An Opportunity to See If We Will Only Look

Here you go, democracy at it’s best right there on the big screen. It is sad and disheartening how quickly the vast majority of politicians elected move from

“I’m here to do the people’s work” to-

“I’m here to amass power & stay in office as long as possible”

The incredulity expressed as more and more people disengage from the system, from voting or even caring is nothing more than denial. And why are so many people turned off to the most wonderful thing we have as a free people -Liberty? Because it’s been hijacked by a simple but pervasive disregard for the rule of law. 

The GOP here is intent on keeping party control at the top, trying to marginalize the Ron Paul & Tea Party delegates. The vote conducted by Speaker Boehner requires a two-thirds majority to carry. Here’s how that played out. ” The Ayes have it” -are you kidding? Where was this Russia or China?

The DEMs had a schizophrenic moment wanting to walk-back their controversial removal of GOD and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, from their party platform, but they had an even harder time making democracy work. It took old Anthony Villaraigosa three floor voice votes to channel his dictator self. Pretty amusing if it weren’t so sad.

And why do you supposed that “Arab American” lady down in front looked so disappointed? Springtime came much quicker in Egypt but it’s gonna take the Islamists a little more time to get rid of us Christians perhaps.

This is why we cannot disengage. They will not stop!

Please Plagiarize My ‘Open Letter to Mr. John Boehner’

If you don’t hear from me in a week or so, it may be because of my Open letter to John Boehner, Speaker of the House, sent recently. Well, maybe it’s because of the love note scribed on the outside of the envelope more than the letter itself. Please feel free to plagiarize me!

“Dear Mr. Speaker:

When are the Republican Party and Congress going to stand up to this president???

Every time I open the newspaper or look at the news online he’s done something else totally outside the law and unprecedented. The latest of many is the “deferred action to process illegal immigrants” (Janet Napolitano’s words). Call it what you like, it’s backdoor amnesty for 800,000 illegal aliens.

How is this going to produce jobs for Americans?

You should also be screaming for Eric Holder’s resignation over Fast & Furious.

You should insist on a special prosecutor to investigate White House security leaks.

Not a dime more should go to Pakistan until Dr. Shakil Afridi is released and his family protected from further prosecution.

We expect you to uphold the law and force Congress to do so. You want the independent vote, then get busy and earn it.

And one more thing. Don’t send me a letter in reply on your fancy stationary. I am not impressed by that. Just do what the American people expect you to do.

PS- please note the recycled paper my letter is printed on. I know by the continued (though better hidden) ethanol subsidies, the curly (full of mercury) light bulb mandates and the increased rebates on inefficient green cars, how much this means to the crowd in Washington, all the while driving around in taxpayer-funded luxury, leased cars, or commuting to Washington from California at taxpayer expense as Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta does weekly.”

Martha Stewart is Pissed & You Should Be Too!

This one takes the cake! No, not a Martha Stewart decorated with dandelions from your yard cake, but this one really tops all others in the ‘screwed by Congress again’ category.

Living behind bars

You may remember Martha Stewart went to jail. Five months in a federal prison for avoiding a loss of $45,673 by selling stock she owned after receiving material, nonpublic information from her broker, according to Wiki. She was charged, convicted and served time in addition to paying a $30,000 fine.

So why is Congress exempt from this same type of activity?????

Watch the whole thing. Then call your congressmen and insist they sign on as co-sponsors to H.R. Bill 1148, the Stock Act. I’ll bet you $100 they never even heard of it. Make it your job that they do.
