Zuckerberg & Facebook Forcing Us To Be Sharia Compliant

July 12, 2017

Another slam to our First Amendment rights. This is serious. Don’t forget in 2014 every single Dimocrat (my new name for Democrats) in the Senate (and even some Republicans) voted to amend the Constitution to give Congress the power to prohibit or restrict participation in political campaigns. A most frequent justification these days is shutting down “hate speech”. I am sorry the Constitution protects even what some would call hate speech. And lately Facebook has climbed into bed with Islamists, namely the interior minister of Pakistan to eliminate “blasphemous content on social media and to raise the voice of the entire Muslim world against the madness unleashed against Islam”. I’m sorry Zukerberg, that’s called censorship! Vice President of Facebook Joel Kaplan called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and also agreed to a special meeting of the ambassadors of the Muslim countries on a single-point agenda to discuss blasphemous content on social media.

“Blasphemous content” is forbidden by Shariah law (hat-tip American Thinker). This means anything remotely critical or questioning of Islam, Mohammed, or any Muslim doctrine.  Sharia forbids it on penalty of death. So not only does Zukerberg believe the US government should pay everyone a universal basic income (see why I call them  Dims?), he’s also willing to bow to Muslim fundamentalists and censor whatever may offend them on Facebook!

Facebook is the biggest, most widespread source of news in the world, so this is not a small thing. Pamela Geller of the Draw Mohammed Cartoon Contest fame in Garland, Texas is suing Facebook for blocking her feed causing her Facebook traffic to drop by 70%. Geller says,

“I will continue to speak in defense of freedom until the day I die. It’s just that simple. It’s not even a choice. It’s a calling. Facebook adhering to the most extreme and brutal ideology on the face of the earth should trouble all of us, because Mark Zuckerberg has immense power. He controls the flow of information. He controls what you see and don’t see on Facebook. We did not give him the power to abridge our unalienable freedoms.”

And so far anyway, we haven’t given that power to the Dims either.
